What’s up with Joshua Eli Kranz, L.A. Composer/Performer?…about art representing the inner significance of things.

“The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance. ” The words of Archimedes.  It is my wish to do just that.  I believe when I sing and play the piano my music allows you to feel how I feel in my inner self and to sense the importance of my relations to others close to me.  When listening to the sound of my music you should sense the feeling of the work sung about, the enormous happiness from enjoying the love of someone, the depth of the sadness felt when something comes to a close when you don’t wish it to end, the hugely wonderful feeling of finding my own place composing music, the fun of listening to just the right kind of run on the piano or picturing and reacting to something comedic when it is sung.  Because it is important to appreciate the differences between people and how much they need to feel fulfilled and appreciated in all ways,  I want to ink a song that when played and sung makes you want to be inclusive and appreciative of all humans… wanting to help everyone find and reach their potential and the significance of just that.  I think the task will take a little time but it should be an interesting hike beginning to end. As I write the lyrics and then the music for this new song idea, I want to share with you my progress along the way letting you hear some of my choices.  A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO WILLIAM COOK in Thailand who has listened to most of my songs and continues to listen to them again!!!  You make my day every time I see your picture announcing that you are listening to another of my songs.. You can listen to my music on joshuaelimusic.com, soundcloud.com under Joshua Eli Kranz, YouTube.com under Joshua Eli Kranz, and radioairplay.com under Joshua Eli, my preferred performance moniker.  Thank you to all of you who are reading my blog.  It is very nice to share with you.
